I learnt after a year being in the house, that right across from where I live there are foxes in the neighbourhood. I see this from the comfort of my bedroom, and its been a pleasure to watch. Especially this year after seeing young grow up.
I long to take photos of them, but although my camera is great taking photos, it does not quiet zoom in that close to take photos from that distance where the foxes are.
Might end up being a pipe dream
It might end up being a pipe dream, but my perfect camera for taking pictures like this would be a Nikon D3200 SLR camera. This would get me the close up I needed. But it's an expensive piece of kit. With me having other expenses currently, especially if I find I can hear on an iphone (not getting hopes up), and with a possible unexpected expense along the way, then this camera will only be a pipe dream.
But if I ever do get it, which will only happen if I don't get iphone, or if I do get iphone, but don't expect to cough up on something unexpected that I am debating at the moment in the home, then my pipe dream could be reality. And if it's reality, I will share these fox pictures I hope to take here on my deaf blog with you.

Hi Liz,
We have raccoons. One night I looked out my guest bedroom window and came eye to eye with one perched on the breezeway roof between the garage and the house. That was a surprise I'll never forget. I don't enjoy seeing the raccoons because they can cause a lot of expensive damage to the house.
We had a mother fox and her babies in our neighborhood this spring. They had a home in a hole in the road. They were quite the sensation for a while but they soon moved on.
Wow you have joy of seeing foxes too. I imagine the young will move on. If its true I'm told, that if they don't move on their seperate ways, then they will fight for their territory. I know that one will stay, with watching a lone fox last year, until I had that opportunity to watch them as a group, and young grow up.
I thought raccoons cause damage, but certainly an surprised experience of seeing one face to face. I shall never forget my first hand experience some years ago when I worked mornings, and on my way to work (walking) a certain particular area I always seen a fox cross the road. It was always same time.
But one day as I went past this land it used to go on (now has houses) and I looked that way as I passed. I just froze in amazement because the fox was right there looking at me. It was the closest I had ever been to one, and we were watching each other for one minute before I decided to slowly walk on, as I did not want it to think I was a threat. I have never forgot that experience.
